Smashburger Names David Prokupek as CEO
Mike Fries, Brian Rainey, and Steve Schiffman to Join Board

DENVER, COLO. – (March 9, 2010) – Smashburger, the country’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant company, has selected David Prokupek, its Chairman, to also serve as Chief Executive Officer. The company has also expanded its board to include three independent industry leaders who will provide strategic direction and guidance as Smashburger accelerates its growth and reaches more than 100 stores in 2010. “Better Burger” Adds Sizzle to Corner of Sunrise and Pebble Beach Drive 

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Mar. 3, 2010 – Smashburger, a fast-casual “better burger” restaurant, will open its first Northern California location in Citrus Heights on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The restaurant will open at 5500 Sunrise Boulevard and bring 100-percent Certified Angus Beef burgers, an array of sides and delicious shakes to local residents.
